Choo-choo, All aboard the Durango and Silverton Railroad; An unforgettable ride from Durango, Colorado to Silverton, Colorado with spectacular views of the wilderness, canyons, and San Juan Mountains along the way.

But the view isn’t the only thing that sets these train rides apart from others.

It’s a historic train track that has been in continuous operation since July 1882.  It carries passengers and freight and travels the very same tracks early settlers from the Old West did centuries ago. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to live as a real-life John Wayne- minus the stand-offs- here’s your chance.
