Start things off with an interactive iPad tour of the Graceland Mansion. It’s complete with narration by Full House‘s John Stamos and stories told by Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis’ daughter. You’ll see the famed Jungle Room—with shag carpets—as well as the mansion’s restored and enhanced trophy building and racquetball building. After the tour, you can pay your respects at the Meditation Garden, where Elvis and his relatives have been buried.

Where Do I Go From Here?

Then immerse yourself in the incredible life of the King of Rock ‘n Roll through the attraction’s numerous museums. These include a Career Museum, Automobile Museum, and Discovery Exhibits, which detail the influence and legacy of the singer. Be sure to step onto Elvis’ luxurious, completely-customized 1958 Convair 880 airplane. It features sinks with flecks of 24-karat gold, leather tables, gold-plated seatbelts, and more.

Song Of The Shrimp

When you’ve worked up an appetite, take your pick of cuisine, from the barbecue at Vernon’s Smokehouse to burgers, fries, and shakes at Gladys’ Diner. If you prefer a lighter fare, Rock ‘n Go has you covered with sandwiches and salads. Whatever you do, save room for a banana split at the on-site ice cream shop.

Stop Where You Are

While you’ll find a wide range of accommodations in Memphis, you can make your Graceland experience especially memorable with a stay at the property’s AAA Four Diamond-rated Guest House. It has its own selection of restaurants, including Delta’s Kitchen, which serves a traditional southern breakfast and upscale dining options. There is also EP’s Bar & Grill, an old-fashioned sports bar. Craft beer and handcrafted cocktails can be found at The Lobby Lounge.
