Shelburne Museum

Dig into a big slice of Americana at this popular museum that focuses on relics of the past, housing more than 150,000 pieces throughout 39 buildings. It was opened in 1947, and the collection includes paintings, textiles, vehicles, and more. The museum also hosts rotating exhibits, unique events, and activities that cater to visitors of all ages.

Magic Hat Brewing Company

Craft beer lovers will dig this quirky and creative brewery that’s been in business since 1994. Take a guided tour or explore the “Artifactory” for yourself from Thursdays through Sundays. You can also just sit, sip, and snack in the taproom—it’s the perfect spot to socialize.

Ethan Allen Homestead

Didn’t get your fill at the Shelburne Museum? You’ll find even more Vermont history to enjoy at the home of the state’s founder, which was built in 1787. You can take a tour through the home and learn how Allen and his family lived on the Vermont frontier. It’s open seven days a week. Pick up a souvenir in the gift shop before you go.
