Most parades are filled with plenty of holiday cheer, good eats, the lighting of the city’s Christmas trees and a ton of family-friendly activities. If you happen to be in our nation’s Capitol during this time of year, we think you should make some time to stop by this ginormous tree and the twinkling lights that are displayed all over it.

Spanish Fork City Annual Festival of Lights

Location: Spanish Fork, Utah
Spend $7 and enjoy a beautiful festival of lights with the family. There’s no need to park the car and walk around as you can simply drive through a beautiful display of lights and Christmas decorations.

Santa’s Enchanted Forest

Location: Miami, Florida
If you thought that getting in the holiday spirit is tough to do in South Florida, think again. Santa’s Enchanted Forest is one of Miami’s biggest events. It’s ideal for kids and family because it mimics a county fair with a ton of food and rides. The only difference is that this “fair” is decked out with Christmas decorations with several sitings of Santa Claus.
