Pacific sits 35 miles west of St. Louis at the eastern edge of the Ozarks. Jensen Point offers panoramic views of the Meramec River valley from high bluffs — a short hike from Route 66 rewards you with one of the best views in eastern Missouri.
The town was home to the historic Red Cedar Inn, one of the first roadhouses on Route 66. The building is preserved as a historic landmark.
