1. Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, and salt in a large bowl, then add in milk, cream, and rum.

2. Cover the base in chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

3. Before serving beat egg whites in a bowl. Fold into eggnog base and grate nutmeg and cinnamon over to your liking.
