The La Quinta brand and the Wyndham connection
La Quinta is one of the largest mid-range hotel brands in the United States and has been part of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts since Wyndham acquired the brand in 2018. The La Quinta brand standards have been progressively upgraded since the Wyndham acquisition, with property renovations and amenity improvements across the chain. The Tulsa Catoosa Route 66 property reflects the upgraded brand standards — clean, well-maintained, and consistent with the contemporary La Quinta aesthetic.
The 67-room property is smaller than some competing Catoosa hotels, which can be a benefit (less crowded common areas, more personal service) and a constraint (limited availability during high-demand event weekends). Room layouts include the standard La Quinta mix of king and queen rooms plus a selection of suites with additional living space. All rooms are air-conditioned, include flat-screen TVs with premium cable, mini-refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, work desks, and private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries.
Wyndham Rewards integration is fully active. Wyndham Rewards members earn points on every stay that can be redeemed for free nights and Wyndham partner benefits. The Wyndham loyalty program is smaller than Hilton Honors and Marriott Bonvoy but provides the same basic value proposition for loyal Wyndham guests.
